Holter Monitor Fitting & Setup
At your initial appointment, our team will fit the Holter Monitor, place the electrodes correctly, and walk you through exactly how to use it, including how to log any symptoms you experience during the recording period. The device is small, lightweight, and designed to be worn discreetly under everyday clothing.
Continuous Heart Rhythm Recording
Once fitted, the monitor records your heart's electrical activity continuously for the full duration of the test, capturing every beat, every irregularity, and every moment you note a symptom. You carry on with your normal routine throughout.
Device Return & Data Analysis
At the end of your recording period, you return the device to the clinic. Your full data set is then professionally analysed by our consultant cardiac specialists, with a thorough review of every hour of recorded rhythm, not just flagged moments.
Consultant Report & Recommendations
You receive a detailed written report of your Holter Monitor findings, prepared by our expert consultants, along with clear clinical recommendations and next steps, whether that means reassurance, further investigation, or treatment.
Symptom Correlation Review
Any symptoms you logged during the recording period, palpitations, dizziness, breathlessness, chest tightness, are cross-referenced against your heart rhythm data at that exact moment, giving your consultant the full picture of what your heart was doing when you felt unwell.
